These people are absolutely fabulous. Their hospitality truly knows no bounds. My partner and I were hiking the "easy" trail from one gondola to the other. Turns out, the other was closed, which we didn't know. My partner is in a wheelchair, they can walk about 10m before they need it. I already pushed myself to get to the other gondola, going back up was a nightmare and a time rush. Instead, we made the trip downwards. Still hard, but the only chance we had. We sat down at this lovely place and once the waiter came over, we asked for some cold water and explained that we had royally screwed up and asked for help. He immediately agreed to help bring us back to the working gondola with his car. He refused to take any compensation for his help in our time of need. When I kept persisting, he reluctantly took it and said he'd put it in the tip jar for the waiters. The food was great, the water was lovely, the drive back up was fantastic, the help was invaluable, the friendly conversation was the icing on the cake. I can't recommend this place enough, whether in a time of need, or when you just want to eat and drink at a place that offers great quality with a heart of gold...
Read moreWorst food award 🏆 The building is beautiful, but the waiter staff are very uneducated about their own menu. They don’t take allergies seriously (their menu allergens are labelled wrong, and despite my request for no dairy - I got dairy in my meal)! The food is mostly pre-made from frozen, and is often overcooked. I came here multiple times, tried a multiple dishes with my family, and it’s apparent that they can’t even make fries properly!? They’re always overcooked! Total incompetence and over-priced. Do not eat here, there’s better elsewhere. WiFi is also terrible there - it took me many attempts to leave...
