Franzl — Restaurant in Piesendorf

On a rainy day we approached the restaurant and at the entrance there was a group of people clumped together, smoking and making fun of people who were passing by. At first, the restaurant looked very nice inside and we were given multiple options to sit down. We were looking around, did not see any signs about corona measures and also staff did not wear any protection. We found a place to sit down, but soon a waiter approached and told us we were not allowed to sit there and showed the corona measure paper, being burried below other things on the table. Unfriendly he redirected us to another table, though we chose for a different table, as provided in the first place. Then the waiter approached us again, became very unfriendly, asking where we came from and telling us we had to move to a different table. We told the waiter we were not feeling very welcomed, but he seemed not to care, only telling us he wanted to solve the problem for everyone. The food is average canteen quality.

The service is better to get rid off and employ the whole new team. After entering we headed to an empty table - waiter shouted that he won’t service us here, no food, no drinks. We found places on the bar. All our bar neighbors were eating, waiter on the bar was saying for 20 minutes that he will take an order ASAP. After 30 minutes he said that we cannot eat on the bar and we have to go to the table. Okay, we went to the table back - to the same where we were rejected and already here we are seating another 30 minutes and no one comes to take an order!

Awful service! Time and money waist

Update: We got drinks after more than 1 hour wait. Tableware is also in awful...

Wie waren jetzt am Sonntag 06.03.22 zum Skifahren auf der Schmittenhöhe. Aufgrund der tollen Fotos und Rezensionen haben wir uns entschieden in der Franzl Hütte zum Mittagessen einzukehren. Das einzige das schmeckte war der Tee (kann man ja auch nicht viel falsch machen). Nach Bestellung der Mahlzeiten dauerte es nicht lange bis unser Essen ankam, was für mich immer kein gutes Zeichen ist (nicht frisch zubereitet). Wir hatten eine Knödelvariation und Kärntner Kasnudeln bestellt. Anstatt den Käsenudeln wurden Käsespätzle gebracht und als wir dann erwähnten, das wir das gar nicht bestellt haben meinte der Kellner nur, das dies nicht stimmt und stellte uns das Essen auf den Tisch. Meine Knödel und die zerlassene Butter waren kalt ebenso wie das Gemüse das irgendwie auf den Teller geworfen wurde. Die Käsespätzle hatten keinen Geschmack und waren ziemlich wassrig (wahrscheinlich tiefgefroren und kurz im Wasser erhitzt). Die Teller wurden auch nicht abgeräumt und der Kellner lies sich auch nicht mehr blicken, obwohl kaum etwas los war. 18,00€ für ein Knödeltrio das Kalt war und nicht geschmäckt hat, ist meiner Meinung einfach viel zu viel. Im Endeffekt bezahlten wir 42,00€ für zwei Tess, drei kleine Knödel und eine kleine Portion Käsespätzle die nach nichts schmeckten. Nicht...
