Nederhütte = Champions League This ski lodge is definitely Champions League! And it’s the winner !! I know the Nederhütte since 2012. We’re spend since 2012 each year one week skiing in Obergurgl. And we visiting the Nederhütte nearly daily. So these review is based on a lot of visits. Why is the Nederhütte Champions League ? Behause of… — the quality and selection of dishes — the speed between ordering and serve of the dishes — the atmosphere within the lodge — AND most important - the friendliness of the service staff You can feel the friendliness of the the service staff members. The bosses of the Nederhütte Stephanie and Bernhard Gamper are fully part of the team. Means they also serve dishes to the guests - full time - rarely seen in my life ! And the friendliness comes from the heart - comparable with the service from Singapore Airlines.
I let them know this face to face at my last visit March 2018 and invited them to visit the company I work for in Bremen.
Stephanie and Bernhard - go ahead, your`re awesome !

I know there are loads of cool apres ski bars around the Alps, all with their unique features, but for me, the Nederhutte is the best all-round bar when you take everything into account and their level of consistency (I've been going there for something like 18 years now) is absolutely exceptional. It would be unfair to name any staff, because so many of them help to make our visits there special (and some of them will be behind the scenes). That said, they have a new singer in the Nederlumpen and she is an excellent addition to the band. See...
Read moreBrilliant apres ski music venue with excellent food and atmosphere. However, even if they insist, do not let the staff combine your open bar tab with other unassociated groups sharing your table as they made an awful mess of the bill and tried to charge us for drinks we had not had (well over €30) Fortunately we had kept a detailed list of what we had ordered anticipating that this system appeared somewhat flawed. We had been in there twice earlier in the week and paid as we went along which worked perfectly well. The manager resolved the issue very professionally though, so just one to exercise...
