The worst mountain hut I have ever visited (have had numerous ski holiday in Obergurgl and summer walking holiday throughout the alps.
We'd already had a superb lunch at the Hoch Alm so stopped here while walking back down and showing our now 21yr old daughter where she went on her first charlift to ski age 4.
I speak fairly good German and after ordering 2 portions of Kasiershmarrn (more expensive than we had seen and had elsewhere) very oddly BEFORE the food arrived the waiter came back to our table and asked me to pay. As soon as our food arrived we realized why. They had clearly split one portion between 2 much smaller dishes. I like this place. Terrace is not that large but it's surprisingly big inside and the place was packed! For a good reason. Full of nice people working there. Great vibe.

It's probably also the most expensive lunch we'd had while skiing, but we thought it was worth it.
