Restaurant Schwarzkogl — Restaurant in Sölden

I've been visiting this place for the past 4 years. It's always been the best on Sölden's slopes. Not anymore. I suppose a new owner came in and completely destroyed the atmosphere. It's newly refurbrished, which is good, but the other changes are definitely NOT good. Food used to be cooked fresh. Not anymore. It tastes like from school canteen. Just straight awful. AWFUL. Draft beer is now served ONLY separately at a bar (in the past there was also a bar, but you could pay everything at once) and you also have pay separately for it. Talk about inconvenience, when you are in your skiing gear, because the bar is quite far from the dining zone. Also the draft beer is now 6,2 € for 0,5l. Excuse me? I'm used to the prices around here, but nah nah brother, this is too much. The place used to make sense. Now it just doesn't. The staff also has big difficulties with english, which was never the case. I am definitely not gonna go there anymore. Shame, but I am not accepting this stuff. 100% do...

Everything was great, the view is absolutely stunning, especially since we were lucky to have great weather that day. I got goulasch for first course, really tasty and hot, and grilled ribs for the second course. The meat was very tender, coated in a good barbecue sauce. My father also got some really good pulled pork, which was cooked outside in a smoker. The great smell coming from the smokers is what encouraged us to go and eat there. Very friendly and passionate staf! We ate here 2 times and it was wonderful! The food is delicious and healthy. They provide a proper meal. Best restaurant in Sölden where we have eaten. Thanks again! Suggestion: vegetarian main dish (tofu, falafel,...)...
