Wieser Alm — Restaurant in Saalbach-Hinterglemm

Never got my food. When I asked about it I got a spaghetti instead of a burger. The other burgers our table got did not have lettuce in them because they seemed to be out of lettuce but never told us. If you are out of the ingredients of a dish, should you still sell it? We had to first wait half an hour to order, nearly an hour to get our food that was never complete and then had to wait at least another half an hour to get our check. The outside was cozy but a huge wasp attraction. The inside was rather plain and chilly and felt more like a canteen without waiters. The food in itself was not bad should we have at least received the courtesy of the waiter to say the kitchen was out of burgers or lettuce. We ordered what we saw on another table but received something completely different. Our entire party had finished but after 1,5 hr of waiting one person had still not received anything. A faint apology but no compensation. We didn't complain but politely said there was no more use bringing the extra plate. We won't be going back here bearing in mind the upscale prices that did not match the downscale service. They were clearly in over...

We paid 29€ for a wiener schnitzel and it was really bad… the meat was not salty enough and had no taste to it. the fries ‚panade‘ was horrible. a schnitzel should be fried gold brown but instead it was almost white and soggy af. the fries looked like they were the cheapest frozen fries possible also all of them were too hard and they only put small fries on the plate. it comes with a lemon which i liked and with cranberry jam and ketchup. even tho we asked for mayonnaise. i had to put so much pepper and salt on it… honestly it was a waist of money… so sad considering the cool location. overall the price is just too high for...

Absolutely terrible experience here. Drinks were flat and food cold. I asked for a flat drink to be changed, 4 people I ended up asking and the last member of staff physically pushed me out of the way of the bar. I would add I was being polite at this point I would add! The food was dramatically overpriced and poor quality for the prices (which were extortion for what it was!). There are far better places on the mountain to eat with better menu's, and better service! They also tried to automatically add on extra service charge after a terrible experience.
