Gasthof zur Kanne — Restaurant in Sankt Florian

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel which is only yards from the archway which leads up to the path behind the abbey of St Florian.||||Being a gasthaus, there were fewer comforts than in a modern hotel but the lack of air conditioning in the warm August weather was not a problem with the windows open.||||Breakfast and food in the restaurant were very good and the room was comfortable and sufficiently spacious.||||The layout of the building was interesting and the two staircases confused me initially. There were marble and polished wooden floors and artifacts decorating the walls. The hallways and landings contained nice items of furniture which added to the homely feel. The decor could not be faulted. My room had a lovely view of the abbey. The bathroom and hot water were more than satisfactory but, unfortunately, I left my bath sponge behind when I left.||||You can dine outside if the weather is good as well as in. The bar has some very nice Austrian beers.||||I would be very happy to...

Hallo,|Ich war schon öfter im Gasthof "Zur Kanne" und|war immer sehr zufrieden!||Die Zimmer sind ruhig gelegen, einfach (Bad, Toilette, Fön, TV und W-lan), schön und sauber.||Das Highlight ist das Restaurant!|Ich bin des öfteren Geschäftlich zu Gast, wir hatten aber auch schon einige Familienfeste (dafür gibt es viele schöne extra Räume, von 8 bis 50 Personen ist für jeden Geschmack was dabei) Es war immer ausgezeichnet, der Service schnell und aufmerksam, die Küche ein Traum, die Weinauswahl sensationell!|Sonntags sollte man reservieren da der Andrang meist sehr groß ist.|Der Gastgarten im Sommer ist mit der großen Kastanie die in der Mitte thront sehr idyllisch.||Es gibt immer tolle Themenwochen, bei meinem letzten Besuch waren gerade die Wildwochen. Die ich weil ich Wild liebe am besten finde. Vom Hasen bis zum Hirsch, alles ausgezeichnet abgeschmeckt und in einer Wahnsinns Qualität!||Ich kann diesen Landgasthof nur...
