Need a change from the heavy delicious austrian food? Well here it is. Love this place, beautiful drive as well to get there from Salzburg. The owner and chef is from Indonesia, although her Vietnamese fried egg rolls were better than most I had in Vietnam or the USA. The chicken curry delicious. If you like spice, add the fresh chili's. Dumplings were just what I was craving and came with a lovely Cucumber salad. Best wine spritzer with her homemade Asian inspired syrup. Best spritzer I had in Austria. After a good research through the main food websites reviews, we decided to give a try to Christie's restaurant. Even though the restaurant is rather small, it is pretty cozy and clean. The menu offers are changed in a weekly basis, and the prices are reasonable. Within our choices, the food was fresh and very tasty! I felt like having dinner in Thailand. If that would not be enough, after we paid, the chef and owner asked us for feedback and gave us a Tiramisu to eat is back in our Hotel! We come here for years and Christie‘s food is always top notch. Without any doubt the best Thai, respectively Asian restaurant in the Salzkammergut region. Her „best sellers“ are always a great option and her weekly menu brings the interesting choice even for regular customers.
