Pizzeria Cafe PIAZZA — Restaurant in Sankt Michael im Lungau

All the props to the staff - everyone was really friendly and tentative and quick to a joke (sometimes they took it too far, but we took it all in good fun). The atmosphere was nice, very calm as it was late in the evening. Kitchen remains open until late hours, which is a plus.

The food - we had a tomato soup, a pizza (salami e proscuitto), spaghetti with salmon and spaghetti fruti di mare. The idea was there, but everything was extremely salty, including the soup. That is the worst pizzeria I have ever been to. Pizza was too salty and according to them big pizza is 33cm pizza (for me it is a standard one). They are family unfriendly: they didn't offer us a high chair for a baby nor as small cutlery for a child. In the final receipt they added 1,5 Euro charge for an additional plate (no information about such a charge before). The senior waiter (probably the owner) was very unpleasant and acted like if he wasn't glad to have guests in his restaurant. I wouldn't recommend this...

Imagine you arrive hungry after full day of skiing to pizza place at exactly 5 pm. All the tables except two small ones are empty and the service tells you that there's a reservation for 6 pm and that they aren't able to make a pizza for 2 ppl until that time.

How can you run a pizza place if you can't make 2 pizzas in 60 minutes in almost empty restaurant? 👀 No take away option, no nothing, reservation needed days in advance for empty restaurant 🙈

Avoid this place and rather eat something at nearby...
