Very nice food with huge potions. So if you are a small eater, you might be better off with a kids portion 😊. The Kaiserschmarrn is one of the best I've ever tasted. Very crunchy on the outside and still soft on the inside. Wienerschnitzel was also very good. Staff is very friendly. Since it's located a bit outside of the summer highlights, it is less busy then some of the other restaurants in summer, which can be nice. A great choice for eating in the hills. I liked this stylish Tyrolean place much better than the Panorama restaurant. It's a really spacious restaurant with a large terrace, so finding table big enough for a family of five wasn't a problem 👍

From the menu, we especially liked all the soups and the spätzle with cheese. If you like dumplings with poppy seeds and vanilla cream, I can also recommend it. And your kids will love the option to get extra vanilla sauce. At least ours ate...

Wir waren auf Empfehlung hier. Die Aussicht ist toll und das Ambiente weiß zu überzeugen. Die Preise für das Essen sehen wir zwiegespalten. Der Preis für die Hüttenpfanderl war vollkommen gerechtfertigt, wenn auch mit arg viel Sahne gestreckt. Der Preis für das Bauernpfanderl (ähnliche Größe des Gerichtes) betrug fast das doppelte, bei gutem Fleisch und recht geschmackloser Beilage, also nicht gerechtfertigt. Bis dorthin waren wir von der ausgenommen Gastfreundlichkeit vor Ort beeindruckt, anders hier. Vor einer Begrüßung gab man uns direkt das Gefühl unerwünscht zu sein, mit dem Hinweis: "Nicht wundern, wir packen alles zusammen, wegen des Regens." Soweit ok. Die Getränke kamen schnell. Bei der Essensbestellung haben wir wie üblich nach einer Empfehlung gefragt, die genervt klingende Antwort lautete: "Alles, was auf unserer Karte steht ist empfehlenswert...." danach nichts mehr, keine Auflösung oder Ergänzung. Die anschließenden Kontakte waren kurz und wirkten professionell, bei den wenigen anderen Gästen konnten wir beobachten, wie das aufgesetzt wirkende Lächeln im Weggehen sofort verschwand.
