VIA64 - Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Stadt Dornbirn

Same as some other reviewers that, we visited there just because it was close to the hotel and the reviews seem to be not too bad. However it’s certainly just an average restaurant. The waitress there was nice enough to offer us a couple paper and color pencils for our kids to draw. Sadly, the quality of food is really really so so. The pizza dough was so hard and dry, even we ordered extra cheese, but didn’t feel like it. Don’t know why the pizza itself was very salty. The spaghetti bolognese was below average. The pasta itself was precooked and very very soft, and there were lots of carrots inside the bolognese sauce and it’s so watery. Staffs are nice however something should be improved such as: cannot just provide us 1 water glass for a liter of sparkling water while we were 5 ppl sitting on the table, the table itself got finished food, emptied beer glass and used napkins but still wouldn’t come over and take them away. After a while, we just decided to leave instead of ordering wines and chill. In fact there were only 3 tables with customers inside (including us), and 4 tables outside. Don’t have a reason for us...

1⭐️ seems harsh but truly deserving after what I’ve gone through on 8March. Via64 occasionally has salsa and I tried the event.

The event venue is good but what I encountered was a really horrible service (tho I just got a drink)

So, the story begin by me headed up to the counter to order Mosccto Spritz which price was placed on the tables of the restaurant at €6.90 and when I wanted to pay, he told me €9 😱

Then I asked, why and the manager said it’s salsa night, it’s special night so higher price 🤣 - seriously restaurant manager, you gotta be kidding

Then they don’t accept card since it’s after 22:00 - WTH 😅 anyway lucky my friend was there to pay 💰 for me

Btw, the Moscato Spritz tasted like water!!! So, those who scored this restaurant 5 stars , you’re lucky but just this experience to get a drink, I’ll definitely not recommend

Oh and it’s just name sake Italian but the people there are not so keep your expectations low and your desperate for food, then...

Leider nicht mehr wie früher! Ganz zu Anfang war ich von der Pizzeria noch überzeugt... mittlerweile fühl ich mich nicht mehr wohl und werde auch nach heute nicht mehr hingehen.

Wir sind heute hingegangen, ich hatte eine Pizza Prosciutto bestellt. Die Pizza war verbrannt, vor allem am Rand und schmeckte auch so.

Nachdem ich diese reklamiert hatte, kam der Kellner, nahm sie mit und brauchte mir nach ca. 10 Minuten eine neue.

Die war dann nicht mehr verbrannt aber geschmacklich war sie früher einfach besser. Wer als Gast hier meint eventuell entschädigt zu werden, der hofft umsonst.

Für die verbrannte Pizza kam weder eine Entschuldigung noch wurde eventuell ein Getränk nicht verrechnet. Auch nach einem Kaffee oder Grappa als Entschuldigung wurde nicht gefragt. Einzig während der zweiten Pizza wurde gefragt ob diese nun ok wäre.

Wir waren außerdem alleine im Restaurant, was an sich kein Problem ist allerdings unterhielt sich das Personal in einer starken Lautstärke auf Türkisch was sehr störend war. Wenn man so mit Gästen umgeht, braucht man sich nicht wundern, wenn diese nicht mehr wiederkommen oder der Ruf irgendwie besuddelt wird.

Da geh ich dann lieber zu einem anderen Italiener... Schade, früher ging ich wirklich gerne zu euch. Dann hierzu auch noch ziemlich hohe Preise:

Cola Zero 3,50 Euro Pizza Prosciutto 10,60 Euro...

Naja muss jeder selbst wissen, welcher Preis zu welcher Leistung verrechnet werden darf.
