Cafe Schillwasser — Restaurant in Vienna

This is such a charming place where a person can reset. They have a choice of very interesting cakes, vegan and gluten as well. I ate late lunch twice there and both times the portions were fair and delicious for a moderate price. The place is unique as there are different projects and communities involved. You can also shop from the natural shop in front or buy young plants for your garden. The only thing I missed there was the good coffee, but they have a choice of tasty lemonades, so it is also ok. It is a hidden germ and I hope the atmosphere and the quality will stay the same.

Update: The coffee got real good and is a perfect addition to the tasty cakes the Cafe offers. Compliments for the vegetarian dishes that vary every week, some of them really surprised me with their balanced and still original taste. It is my favourite veggie...

Cute place for sure, but be careful if you want to eat there with a group of more than 2 people. We went there with 4 friends, my cheese toast arrived like 30 minutes later than everyone else’s order. Every single one of them already finished with their drinks and food, when I finally got my -not super complicated- cheese toast. Can be ofc a single hiccup, but for me it was very uncomfortable to see everyone finishing their food while I am watching, then after they are all done I eat alone. I will bring my own food...

Wir waren eingeladen, dass neue Brunch Buffet zu probieren.

Alle Speisen sind zumindest vegetarisch, bei unserem Besuch war ein Großteil der Speisen vegan.

Folgende Speisen gab es zur Auswahl: – vegane Käsevariation – Scrambled Tofu – verschiedene Aufstriche – Hollerblüten Marmelade & vegane Butter – Hausgemachte Mohn Streuselkuchen & Zitronenkuchen – Vanille Joghurt, Fruchtsalat & Granola – Melonen-Ingwer Shot – Gemüse – Gebäckvariation

Besonders gut fanden wir das Tofu Scramble, den Fruchtsalat und die Kuchen.

Genießen kann man alles im tollen Garten, bei Schlechtwetter gibt es auch im Inneren einige Plätze.

Für uns ein großes Plus ist der Spielplatz im Garten, den unser Sohn sehr liebt.

Das Buffet kostet 18,50€ pro Person ohne Heißgetränk. Kinder essen bis zum 3. Geburtstag gratis, bis zum 12.Geburtstag zahlen Kinder 11,10€.
