Gasthaus Stotzek — Restaurant in Vienna

I hesitate to spread the word about how crazy-good Stotzek Gasthaus is. Thankfully it's a little difficult to find or it would truly be overrun with people seeking classic culinary delights in a warm and friendly, although large & separated dining spaces. During fair weather, the large covered outside patio next to the vineyards is a welcomed atmosphere in nature. The service is incredibly professional, friendly, and alert to diners needs. Likewise the kitchen staff, although extremely busy during prime hours, always has time for a smile and a friendly greeting. The owner is also deeply involved, ensuring service and food standards are consistently maintained. Now I'm fearful that more will know about this Gem creating crowded conditions. Lovely vineyard guest house near Vienna—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for wine lovers. Serves nice local food and great desserts. Closes at 4pm.

Positiv finde ich: Neue moderne Homepage. Neu gestaltete Speisekarte, davon leider gefühlt 90% Fleischgerichte, möchte man kein Fleisch/Fisch essen hat man kaum Auswahl. Schöner Gastgarten und der erste Speiseraum ist einladend. Essen war bisher immer gut und schön angerichtet

Verbesserungswürdig: Die Preise wurden zuletzt deutlich und wie ich finde übertrieben erhöht. Der große Speisesaal ist leider gar nicht einladend und gehört schon seit vielen Jahren dringend renoviert, dunkle Möbel und alte Fliesen. Ich kann da echt nicht nachvollziehen, warum man dafür kein Geld in die Hand nimmt. Die Bar/Theke befindet sich gleich im Eingangsbereich, dort halten sich mitunter auch gerne offensichtlich alkoholisierte Gäste auf was ich persönlich nicht so angenehm empfinde
