Krapfenalm Wagrain — Restaurant in Wagrain

Very nice "Krapfen" - a house special which is a sort of big donut with a floor in the center hole, which is usually filled with some sort of a delicious sauce, which you pick. Vanilla, chocolate, blueberry jam, etc..

There is a very cute cat there who loves playing with sticks. He likes to lay by the place where the warm air comes out. Unfortunately, he doesn't like being pet much.

The only downside, is that you will have to ski down a red slope to get there. On days where it snows or the following few days, the snow can be a pain. But the red slope isn't that bad if you know what you're doing.

I say it's worth it...

So although this place is a little pricey it’s good, THE PRICE IS WORTH IT. I had the Austrian donuts with vanilla ice-cream and blueberries (krapfen mit vanille eis, Heidelbeermarmelade und sahne) the service was very good and the krapfen tasted HEAVENLY.
