Seealmstüberl — Restaurant in Werfenweng

Lovely little restaurant/pub. We had a reservation for 8pm, came in at 7.55 but got our table little over 8.05. Unfortunately English won't be much understood here so the little of German we know and some hand gestures did the trick. After we ordered we got a little starter which we didn't order but was a nice surprise but not for everyone I suppose. Then it took something around 45 minutes to get the food. It tasted alright, could be better, could be worse. The service was nice. The atmosphere is nice, well decorated and non-smoking although a bit noisy. Prices are acceptable. Do yourself a favor and find this place. Park in the sports lot and take the short walk through the woods. What a hidden gem! I saw some reviews complaining about the service, but our waitress was top notch. Friendly, helpful and patient with a group of goofy Americans that don’t speak a lick of German besides “bier”. Her recommendations were spot on. The food was delicious and the view was unbelievable. Five of us stuffed ourselves for 120€. I cannot recommend this place...

Amazing place! Very popular due to their fish-they catch a dich in a pond and if you approve he fish, they will cook for you! Everything was tasty. Big soup portions. We were so so full. Prices average for this region and Austria overall. For two persons we spend around 60 eur ( 2 beers, two soup portions, fish, and nockerl). Just young lade spoke English.
