Hanoglu Baklava & Lokum — Restaurant in Baku City

Excellent place to get sweets in Baku. I am a tourist and was hunting down a good place to find quality Baku Baklava and after couple of stores, I can say that this is one of the best stores to go find authentic baklava.

They have huge variety of Baklavas on display and the store owner/salesman (Yakob) was extremely kind and helpful. He let us try each Baklava and chose the ones that we like to be packaged together. Yakob is the soul of the place and it's his passion towards his sweets that really sells the store.

The store also has a wide variety of Lokums which is a Turkish delight and tastes wonderful. There are plenty more sweets also in the store but unfortunately I did not have enough space in my stomach to try them all. But if it was upto Yakub , he would make sure you try every sweet there is and get you the best one that you liked.

The prices are little high (40 azn/kg for non pistachio ones and 60 azn/kg for pistachio ones) but compared to other stores in Baku region, it's similarly priced. But here you get quality ingredients, taste and service. Plus they plastic wrap it ready for travel.
