During my recent visit to Bimini with family and friends, we stumbled upon a hidden gem that has quickly become a new favorite: Stuart's Conch Stand. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the enticing aroma of freshly prepared conch salad. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Each bite was a burst of freshness and flavor. You must try their famous Knockout Rum Punch. Trust me when I say, this drink is not for the faint of heart! But with its potent blend of flavors and smooth finish, it's the perfect complement to a day spent soaking up the sun on the island.
What truly sets Stuart's apart, however, is not just the delicious food and drinks, but the overall experience it provides. The staff are warm, friendly, and eager to ensure that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. And the ambiance? Serene, with just the right touch of island vibe. With great music playing in the background and the gentle breeze from the ocean nearby, it's the epitome of relaxation. Needless to say, my family and I have already made plans to make Stuart's Conch Stand a regular stop on our future trips to Bimini. It's a place where the food is exceptional, the drinks are delightful, and the memories created are nothing short of magical. If you find yourself in Bimini, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Stuart's. You...
Read moreI had Conch Salad in Turks and Caicos several years ago and it was excellent. Took a 4 days cruise with a stop in Bimini for the sole purpose of having Conch Salad at Stewart’s. I was highly disappointed. Many of the pieces of conch were thick, rubbery gristle and not eatable. We had several bites and abandon our effort to finish the bowl. The atmosphere was nice and had a tropical feel. My wife attempted to watch the chef prepare the salads … but the Chef appeared to be annoyed. Our server was disinterested in us and our only contact with him was when he removed us from the table we were sitting in. (At the time there was no one else in the “shack” Didn’t understand the reason for the move but Complied with his instructions. Maybe we just got a couple of old conch? In my humble opinion Stewart’s does not deserve other than a One Star rating. I would not recommend their conch salad but it may be possible other items on the menu may be tasty… I don’t know and will...
Read moreI'm giving 5 stars for the overall vibe, service, and great conche salad. We were here when a cruise ship was in port, so the island was really busy. I don't know if this is how they normally operate, but we had to order at the counter, then they seated us. It may be different when the island is less busy.
They had Sands beer, 2 for $5, which is probably the cheapest beer on the island. The conche salad was $10, and it was fresh and delicious. They have other food options but really, it's a conche stand... you come here for what they do best.
Make sure to check out the huge pile of conche shells to the north of the building and look out into the water. We saw a big stingray, lots of fish, and a guy was harvesting conche off the pier to the south of the building. I assume they were for the restaurant. I don't think "farm to table" gets any...
