Tasty Caribbean Delights — Restaurant in New Providence

DELICIOUS! We went here (the foodtruck on the Westside) for late lunch after a morning of swimming at the beach. We ordered the Oxtail and Curry Mutton with peas n' rice - everything was DELICIOUS! Both the Oxtail and Mutton were off-the-bone tender and full of flavor, plus the portions were very generous. The peas n' rice were also plentiful and flavorful. The dishes were soooo good that I ended up buying another order of Curry Mutton to-go to eat for dinner later. :) To top it all, the prices are very, very reasonable, especially compared to the Fish Fry and other spots in Downtown. Today they did not have what I wanted so I just got a small basic plate of BBQ chicken. It was ok. They had some really good looking items but the conch and rice was gone so feeling disappointed I just ordered something basic. The system from ordering to food collection was confusing. You can view the food then join a line to order then you get a number to join another line to pay then if the food that on needs to be taken up isn't ready then you can sit and wait for your number to be called. At this time they may still have questions related to your order...

This is my second time here to the Bahamas and I've eaten here quite a few times,first visit over a year ago was great,I guess they've changed their chef etc,first thing,ain't nothing like being told ("it's not curried goat its mutton".....ummm miss I am Jamaican and this is supposed to be a Jamaican restaurant),staff were not very friendly either,the rice and peas tasted or looked nowhere near Jamaican either,I will give a otherwise good review because the place was clean and the service fast.......PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD JAMAICAN FLAVA THAT THIS...
