The Pond Restaurant & Cigar Lounge — Restaurant in New Providence

Very slow bar service during Peak hours due to the fact that there is one female on the cash register. There are lots of servers but slow cashing of drinks. There is also not enough toilet paper for the 200 patrons who typically come there on a Friday night. The place usually kicks off around 8:30 to 9 oclock. There is adequate parking. The parking is also organized by an atrendant. The Live band is definitely improving. I believe they would do well if they put in a bit more rehearsal time, worked on their stage presence and energy level. The outside bar services its customers rather quickly. There is upstairs where more of the cigar smokers congregate. It can get a bit overwhelming if you suffer from allergies and are more on the health consious side. Overall, the place is not too highend and neither is it too cheap and grogy. Generally it attracts a 30 and older crowd. Só no riff rafts. Working...

A very comfortable atmosphere I would recommend The Pond to any and everyone looking for a nice lounge to sit and eat with nice conversation and the owner is always there and is a very nice and helpful person....
