Beyond catering boutique — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

Came based on the overly positive reviews in here, and I can give the place 4 starts max.

The very first thing is the entrance. The location of the restaurant is poorly chosen. The restaurant has its main entrance on the backside of the mall where you can't park and the nearby parking lot is always full. When we decided to get to it from the mall, we had to walk through the not so nice mall and the entrance looked more of a staff door ( not even clean). We even stood there and questioned whether it's AN ENTRANCE.

I suggest they put some effort into making the mall entrance more presented and noticeable for customers.

We came for breakfast and we found the menu a bit limited and overpriced. A croissant with few berries on top is around 3.5 BD? Emmm

We tried the French toast and it was a bit difficult to cut ... not so fresh tasting. For the coffee, we had to wait to get one drink at a time as there is only 1 barista. I got my coffee and after a while the other coffee and maybe 5 more minutes later the third cup. 🤔

Located in the Al Sultan Center of Zayed Town, Bahrain, Beyond Catering offers a cozy escape for breakfast lovers and food enthusiasts alike. With its ample indoor seating and a tranquil atmosphere, it's an ideal spot for a relaxed meal, with warm and welcoming staff.

I decided to try the Avocado Egg Benedict and it did not disappoint. The dish was beautifully presented, with perfectly poached eggs resting atop a generous portion of creamy avocado, all drizzled with a luscious cheddar cheese sauce. On the other hand, the Shakshuka was a bit of a letdown. While it was well-prepared, the flavor profile leaned more toward that of a margarita pizza, which was unexpected.

To accompany our breakfast, we opted for a pot of Karak which was a great choice. The pot easily filled 2.5 cups, making it perfect for sharing.

The only downside to our experience was the presence of mosquitoes. Despite bringing it to the waiter’s attention, there seemed to be no immediate solution, which detracted slightly from the overall enjoyment...

From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented - you can really tell they care about quality. What made the experience even more special was the owner, who came by our table to personally check in and make sure everything was perfect. So kind, warm, and clearly passionate about what they do. This place has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Great food, the best service, and a truly lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining...
