Two years ago I wrote the great place review below and it all stands firm. At a short visit recently a new manager (I did not know) Suresh, was doing a really great job and being an excellent Dairy Queen brand ambassador, Haji a long standing staff member remembered me and greeted me like an old friend. The food was superb, the restaurant absolutely stunning in presentation and the toilets amazingly clean. The burgers are genuinely outstanding and beyond comparison to the normal fast food outlet big names. When you feel welcomed, comfortable surrounded by wonderful food and it is convenient, clean and that good that patrons arrange to see you there - you are in the right place and exactly where you are supposed to be. Well done to the owners of Dairy Queen! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏆🥇
Two years ago I wrote this:- Dairy Queen Manama - what an awesome DQ outlet. Having visited often over the years, today - greeted by an incredibly positive, energised and polite courteous staff member "Ahood", I am reminded exactly what customer service is all about. Well done Ahood for 5 star treatment from the moment we walked in. This location has an incredibly large indoor seating area, a fully visible kitchen area and a range of well presented menus and products to select from. The staff appear happy, energised and positive and want the customers to be happy too. Good happy staff = good happy supervisors = good happy management!! - well done DQ executive team who I am sure also have these characteristics. Fast service, great food and good value for money make DQ the local restaurant chain to favour. It was a pleasure to observe training taking place today overseen by Hassan (a very experienced management figure by all appearances) and Cristian the DQ Group Restaurant Training Manager Anyone wanting a wonderful family environment that is spotless and clean, restrooms that are hospital standard and ample parking (enough for all visitors) will not be disappointed when visiting this restaurant. A truly great place and one of the fast food legends in Bahrain. My personal rating...
Read moreA Disappointing Dining Experience Upon entering this restaurant , the atmosphere was immediately unwelcoming. The decor, which seemed to be intentionally drab, was overshadowed by the staff’s apparent disdain for patrons. Our waiter, who never introduced himself, seemed to have taken the restaurant’s theme of rudeness to heart. Service was slow and unapologetic. Requests for water refills were met with eye rolls, and our questions about the menu were answered with sighs and terse replies. The food, when it finally arrived, was mediocre at best, which might have been overlooked had the service been more pleasant. In a city filled with dining options that offer both delightful food and service, The Grumpy Gourmet stands out for all the wrong reasons. It’s one thing to have a unique theme, but it’s entirely another to leave guests feeling undervalued and eager to leave. Needless to say, we won’t be returning. I hope this captures the essence of what you’re looking for in a review of a rude dining experience. If you need any further details or adjustments, feel free to...
Read moreI've been going to dairy queen since a kid but unfortunately the staff are very rude, if you ask them for tobasco sauce they'll hog the sauce like it's precious to them, I mean come on the dairy queen owner is even the supplier of tobasco sauce but dairy queen are too stinchy to add some tobasco sauce in their burgers and are too stinchy to keep tobacco sauce on their table's back in the day every table had tobasco sauce but now I don't know if it's bad management but even the chips once they changed it very disgusting but the sandwiches and ice cream products very delicious the prices ridiculously expensive for junk food I'm sure if the franchise up in Canada know about the prices they'd be shocked the prices in Saudi Arabia for dairy queen is cheaper...
