Terrible Service – Avoid This Place!

We visited Indian Zafran with family, including a baby, for evening tea and chaats after 5 PM, which should be their working hours according to Google. We waited 10 minutes, yet no one came to take our order or even acknowledge our presence.

The restaurant was mostly empty (which now makes sense), and we could clearly hear the staff chatting behind the counter. Despite saying "excuse me" multiple times, calling out, and even trying their landline and mobile numbers, no one responded! The mobile phone was just sitting at the reception, ringing away, but the staff simply ignored it.

My parents and wife sat patiently, hoping someone would at least show up, but eventually, we gave up and left. Horrendous service! If this is how they treat customers, no wonder the place is always empty. Avoid...

I am a pure vegetarian (Jain ) person so my reviews will be of vegetarian dishes only, we visited this place, The owner and staff were friendly and supportive they helped us to order the perfect dish, we order dahi Bhalla chat typical north indian dish with curd and mint chutney , the dish was really tasty liked it . Then we ordered the main course of paneer bhurji not in the menu but they made specifically for us, the taste was so good accompanied by laccha parotha, naan and dal makhani ( all were upto to the mark) and in the desert we ordered Jalebi ( the taste was same like we used to have in Delhi ). Overall it was a good expirence preferably for vegetarian and Jainmeal , I don't know the non vegetarian dishes but you can...

Hidden gem for Indian food in Bahrain! We were honestly impressed with the bold flavors, generous portions, and affordable pricing at Indian Zaffran. Everything was packed with authentic taste — especially the papdi chaat, which might be the best in Bahrain!

We also loved their Dahi Kebabs, flavorful Mutton Seekh, and the standout Banjara Chicken. Mains like the Butter Chicken, Mutton Rara, and Paneer Dhaniya Adrakee were rich, well-balanced, and perfect with their garlic naan.

Refreshing lassis, great service, and a warm atmosphere — we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended for Indian food...
