Very good traditional main dishes with well balanced spices that very few restaurants have (we had the maqloobah). We were told a local lady (not sure if she is the owner) supervises the cooking of the traditional dishes. Many of main dishes are enough for two. They used to have two sizes but now only one. Very good service and reasonable prices. Excellent outdoor garden setting which can be used when the weather is nice. Hummus is average but comes with excellent home-made oven fresh Arabic bread. Complementary lentil soup and tea is a nice touch. The only recommended improvement is related to the rice that comes with maqloobah. It was very salty and oily. We were a group of 7 people and we were seated very comfortably in a booth.
The quality of the food was fantastic. We ordered a few starters and the large mixed grill. They're not joking about how big it is. It took up a whole table. They gave each of us a soup at the start and later tea and dessert at no extra charge. Apparently it is a part of all their meals.
The service was excellent. The people were very courteous. The price of the food was definitely justified by the quality and quantity of the food and the overall experience of dining there.
