Sash Cafe — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

To say the food is terrible would be an understatement, I’m pretty sure that even someone with no cooking skills can put together food that taste better than this.

The Caesar had no flavour, the sauce tasted like plain mayonnaise it tasted like they didn’t even add salt to the sauce, it had a fishy smell to it.

The Risotto was by far the worst that I’ve ever had in my entire life. Imagine a cheap chicken soup with bits of chicken and rice, that’s their dish.

Tbh, after the meal I understood why they paid influencers to eat the food, because I won’t understand why anyone in their right mind would willingly pay for such terrible...

We went to this place because of its high ratings, and left a little confused.

The cafe was nicely decorated, cosy yet elegant. The staff were attentive and helpful. I did expect more from the food. The chicken sumac salad was okay, it sounded good on paper but was pretty forgettable. The nachos had real potential, but were sadly drenched in cheese sauce to the point of of being over heavy. The Philly steak sandwich was too salty, and I like my food on the saltier side but this was too much even for me.

A shame because I was really expecting a lot...

Cafe on mashtan road. Usually attracts crowd from.royal family and rich and famous of Bahrain. Quiet a costly place. Has spa, gym, restaurant and Cafe. There is outdoor seating as we especially in the evening when sun is not at its best. There is valet parking available but the parking is quiet limited. You need to take a U turn from mosque traffic lights and take the service road immediately to your right otherwise you may miss the entrance. Expensive place and not for...
