ThaiBhFood — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

There’s a lot of Thai restaurant popping around Bahrain right now. So we tried this Thai Restaurant which located at the back of Ansar Gallery at Tubli. It’s easy to locate as the landmark is well known here in the kingdom. They have a big space for diners and a parking lot is available next to Ansar Gallery. They usually have promos on their Instagram page so might as well check them. The food is good, they also have some ready to eat snack available at the counter which is kinda pricy for me. The restaurant is clean and bright, the staffs are welcoming and helpful. They also delivery through talabat and carriage. This is not a usual spot for everyone that’s why we never experience crowd during our multiple visits. So I think that’s advantage for us but not for them. Been to Thailand and love the food from there so if I compare the taste, hmmm it’s ok but don’t compare...

WORST THAI RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD!

The worst Thai Red Curry I've ever had. It tasted burnt with no flavour at all. I asked for Green Mango Salad, they gave me Yellow Mango Salad. The Pad Thai was too lemony. The rice was closer to Basmati Rice instead of Jasmin Rice. The Tom Yum Soup was nice and probably the only dish that's keeping this place alive.

The service was terrible. The lady forgot our initial order of Thai Red Curry and got us Green Curry instead. For take away, she packed the food in boxes at our table. She didn't bother taking it down to the kitchen. Terrible hospitality in general. We spent BD 19/- for the WORST THAI MEAL I've ever had in my life.

The order handling & service was a total disaster, ordered Tom yum soup Prawn cake Thai chicken green curry with rice Prawn with garlic sauce with rice Diet Coke + regular coke Soup & cake were fine then they brought some sort of green rice with chicken mixed together with a sauce instead of the green curry with white rice, we returned it then they brought green curry soup with rice which is wrong again but we had to accept it mean while the other order prawn was served long time ago sitting on the table getting cold with no rice, had to ask for rice which they served on side plate, no main course plates again had to ask for large plates, the regular coke never served, basically total disaster and unpleasant...
