The Butcher’s Knife is located in the heart of District 1 and the menu offers a rich selection of meat cuts like no one else. The restaurant layout is fablulous and outdoor seating is also available.
We were greeted by Mr. Vinit the restaurant Manager who was so friendly and helped us in selecting our dinne choices. Thank you young man for your assistance and beautiful smile 😊.
We started our cuisine with the most beautiful special drink preparation experience I have ever witnessed, no matter how much I express, it wouldn’t be fair unless you see and live the experience personally. The lava lamp and devil drink both quench your thirst in an exceptional manner, really worth trying.
Our starters were the Butcher’s Greens, which consists of rockets, thin slices of apple, dried tomatoes and chunks of wall nut, drizzled with balsamic vinegar, what a dish to start with!!!!
The beef chow chow was served with a small candle flame can, to BBQ the squires on the flame and enjoy the super tender flame grilled meat cubes.
Meanwhile, Vinit suggested the French onion soup, which was served in a cast iron bowl and topped with a crust of chees. One of the best French soups I have ever had. Well done Chef!! We started our main course (Steak butter bread) with the most beautiful presentation by the master chef, the presentation was energetic and joyful. The steak was tender soft and mouthwatering delicious. Similarly their famous melt in the mouth wagyu short ribs was served with mash potatoes and with boiled jumbo asparagus. Our signature dish was the most recognized prime ribeye, which was so tender and served on a hot cast iron plate.
We ended our feast journey with super delicious sizzling date pudding.
Once again I would like to thank Mr. Vinit for his hospitality and for his lovely sense of humor, what a wonderful and quality time spent in a...
Read moreI have to say, what a very dissappointing experience! On arrival we sat on the terrace and were immediately greeted with "would you not rather sit inside" well no, or we would have gone inside? Next was what is your name and contact number? It felt like we were going to have to sign a contract to eat there...we had eaten here a year ago although the food was very pricey for fries and cheese it was fresh and home made, looked and tasted like a real putin should do. This time however all food was processed, very mediocre fries, 8 pieces of 1cm cube beef with fat and grissle and a drizzle of processed cheese sauce, they changed the waiter fortunately to a Kenyian which changed the atomesphere for the better. Took familly and mother in law for a last meal in Bahrain before flying home, but again sorry guys, if you are going to charge 5* or michelin prices for coloured buns, processed burger and the decoration we wish you good luck to fill your restaurant, will not go back and will certainly not recommend people to waste their money on this, go to Sha+×÷=/ Mama next door, half the price and a...
