"WORST DINE IN EXPERIENCE" First the waitress was very rude, she ignored us at the table. She flung our order at the end of the table and fled in a hurry, we were confused if our order was served completely or if she left to get us the remaining items. When we asked her about the same and informed her that she was quite impolite, she refused to admit her rude behaviour and suggested we complain to the manager. The manager Manik came to us and started talking about irrelevant things and supporting his staff's inappropriate behaviour. He went on to insult us by saying that regular customers know everything and indirectly judging us for being non locals. When we claimed that such intolerant behaviour will lead to losing customers like ourselves he claimed that he doesn't care and kept on nagging about how they weren't wrong from their end. As a customer I was very much insulted by their arrogance, the manager couldn't even communicate in proper English and he claimed that it was my mistake that I am unable to understand him, while he kept talking about irrelevant things about his experience in the food industry etc. to deny an apology for their completely unacceptable behaviour. We weren't able to continue with our meal as the atmosphere was spoilt by them and hence we decided to leave immediately and while leaving this manager had the audacity to threaten us and swear at me in rage.
I left completely awestruck by my experience as I have read so many good reviews about woodbury and co, but this experience was completely terrible.
When a franchise has good growth from its customers they should be able to hire educated staff, who are well mannered and trained with basic etiquettes on how to handle customers politely without tarnishing the company's name. Hope Woodbury and co. doesn't forget they too started from a first customer and good reviews to get to where they are right now. Also I expect some action will be taken against such low quality staff that pull down the company to thier cheap levels with their arrogance, illiteracy and ignorance.
So I would like to advice people to avoid the Isa Town branch since they have the worst staff I have ever seen in Bahrain, even the locals have never shown any signs of rasicism like how these staff objectified us and shamed us.
