Dear Starbucks Management,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the service I recently received at one of your branches. As a loyal customer who appreciates Starbucks for its quality and customer experience, I was shocked by the level of rudeness and disrespect shown by one of your staff members.
The staff member in question — a Filipino employee with long hair — was extremely unprofessional. From the moment I approached the counter, there was no greeting, no acknowledgment, and certainly no courtesy. Instead of showing the welcoming and respectful service that Starbucks is known for, this individual displayed a dismissive attitude, avoided eye contact, and even turned their back while I was speaking. Their behavior came across as rude and careless, as if customers did not matter.
What was even more disappointing is the lack of basic respect. Greeting customers politely is one of the simplest yet most important parts of customer service, but this staff member failed to do so. Instead, I was made to feel unwelcome and disrespected. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for a global brand like Starbucks, which prides itself on warmth and hospitality.
I truly do not understand how such staff are recruited or allowed to continue representing your brand when their behavior directly damages Starbucks’ reputation. Customers come to Starbucks not only for coffee but for the positive and comfortable experience — and staff members like this ruin it completely.
I strongly urge Starbucks management to take this issue seriously, review the conduct of this staff member, and ensure proper customer service training is reinforced. No customer should be treated with such disrespect.

He was extremely rude, had a bad attitude, and spoke to me with zero respect. No greeting, no smile – just pure arrogance like he didn’t want to be there.
As someone who comes often, I expect at least basic courtesy. This kind of behavior makes people feel unwelcome. If this is how regulars are treated, I can’t imagine how new customers feel.
