This is a very good Starbucks branch, exactly opposite to the Arrivals gate of the Bahrain International Airport. It serves the usual Starbucks fare, but the service is very nice. I recommend Conrad, who offered helpful suggestions. I loved the decor which seems to have been influenced by Japanese Torii architecture. I've made it a habit to have a cheesecake and a double espresso before an international flight. Starbucks offered a creamy burnt Basque cheesecake which was fabulous. The double espresso was Starbuck standard but had a slight burnt taste at the end. I'm not finicky that way.

The ambience was fantastic, I'd rather wait here than sit or wander aimlessly...
