Tava is one of the few older restaurants in Chittagong. It was really good back in the day but recently it has gone bad. The food can only be described as merely "meh". The Thai soup was really tangy, the biryani was drenched with rose and kewda water and the butter chicken neither had butter nor chicken, just a boney-gravy mess. On a lighter note, the restaurant does offer different seating arrangements for different groups (ie family, friends, bar-buddies etc). The Chicken tandoori might be the only thing keeping this place running. It was well prepared and when paired with a soft butter Naan and sweet Lassi it will send your taste buds on a wild ride. The staff is well-mannered and friendly. The ambience is nice and the place is clean. Thatall being said, this place is expensive and you don't get a bang-for-your-buck experience.
