Haji Biriyani (also known as Hajir Biriyani) is one of the restaurants founded in 1939 in the British Raj, in the heart of Old Dhaka (present-day Bangladesh), selling chevon biryani (dish made with highly seasoned rice and goat's meat). The restaurant also sells borhani (a salted mint drink made of yogurt) and soft drinks. In 1939 the restaurant was started as a roadside food corner by a person named Haji Mohammad Hossain. Later on the business took dramatic change and became part of the culture of Dhaka city.[1]

HistoryEdit
The business was started on 1939 by a cook named Haji Mohammad Hossain. After Haji Mohammad Hossain died in 1992, his son, Haji Mohammad Golam Hossain took over and continued the family business without making any changes in style and tradition. By the passage of time Haji Mohammad Golam became tired by running the family business and finally handed over the business to his son, Haji Mohammad Shahed.[2]

Read more⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic and delicious biriyani that lives up to the hype!
Finally tried Hazi Nanna Biriyani after hearing so much about it and wow, it completely exceeded my expectations! The aroma hits you the moment you walk in - that perfect blend of basmati rice and spices that makes your mouth water instantly.
Ordered their signature mutton biriyani and it was absolutely phenomenal. The rice was perfectly cooked with each grain separate, and the meat was so tender it practically fell off the bone. The spice level was just right - flavorful without being overwhelming. You can tell they use high quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
The portion size is very generous - definitely worth every taka spent. Came with raita, shorba, and borhani which complemented the biriyani perfectly. The borhani especially was refreshing and helped balance the richness of the dish.
Service was quick despite the busy crowd, and staff were courteous throughout. The restaurant maintains good hygiene standards which is always important when dining out. Seating area is comfortable and clean.
What I loved most is how authentic it tastes - reminds me of traditional home-cooked biriyani but with that special restaurant touch. You can see why this place has such a loyal following among locals and visitors alike.
The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. Already planning my next visit to try their chicken biriyani and kebabs. Highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine biriyani experience...

Better than others in the market. I saw few complaints about service and price when checking reviews. But given the taste and authenticity of the taste a real birriani, i would say price is justified. Environment is spacious and comfortable. I saw birthday parties going on . One point to be noted, it seems to me that they are somewhat under staff. I had to try hard draw attention. But their behaviour and service are top notch! Food 10/10 Behaviour...
