I love going there every morning as,my routine for last 11 years.Reasonable price,cordial staffs and excellent parking facility.I also like their sweets which I ordered for my son's akika. Simply love going there. You can get cheap and tasty fast food here. Sweets, cakes, toys are also available. Ample parking space available for self driven cars. One of the best Black coffee Zone in Dhaka , Its near Mohakhali bus stand . Food not too much good .But all are OK. Best in the area! If you are low on budget, this is the best for you. Their tandoori meals are just great. I have visited Captains world several times, mainly due to its prime location. But that all. Food quality is never something special and over priced without a reason. Stuffs also lack cordiality & proper knowledge about food ingredients.I ordered some light snacks which was supposed to be vegetable rolls. But inside I found only boiled onions? Never again. We arranged a small birthday dinner here. It was quite nice, friendly environment. The staffs were friendly and expert in their duties. Food was tasty and reasonably cheap. We enjoyed the evening.

Taste wise each item is overpriced, except the Butter Naan. The Butter Naan was priced BDT.80, and it was worthy...

I was going to give it only one star as rating, but I increased a ⭐ because of the naan, and than the 3rd star came from the Beef Sheekh...

They took 280 taka for the Beef Sheekh, and it was great in taste, and even the quantity was good enough, but it was DRY, dry as desert 🏜️...

Then comes the Chicken Jhal Fry, the must AVOID item. We actually just went to this restaurant to try this item, because Chicken Jhal Fry was our favourite item from Kabab Ghar (Previous restaurant at this very place). They (Captain's World) made the quantity less (half, to be exact), and quality the worst. Just and ordinary children thick curry item, doesn't even give the homemade taste...

Anyway, then ordered a Chocolate Milk Shake (at 180 taka) and 2 hot Coffee. Coffee was great in taste and hot, even the Chocolate Milk Shake was hot as well. Not exactly hot, but not cold as well. It was normal in temperature, should've...

Ignore every 4* or 5* rating for this restaurant - they are most definitely by the staff or their friends. The photos are of what the place used to be years ago.

I would give it a 0 rating if I could. There has been most likely a change of management and the place has now become a dump. Seating is limited and you have to share your table with other strangers. The sofas are also ripped and badly needs a repair. The windows are smudged and unclean. Then, you have to go downstairs at the till and order your food. The food is not bang for buck - it' s expensive for the quality. I ordered a king burger and could not finish it. It was tasteless and I felt like I was grazing like a cow.

The toilets were disgusting. The men's one was stained yellow and the floor was flooded with water or ... urine?

Even your neighbourhood unhygienic restaurant is better than this place!
