Thai Garden-2 Party Center — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

Visited on April 4th for Eid lunch with a friend. When we arrived, there was an ongoing event in another section of the restaurant, so most of the staff were busy there. My friend reached before me, and though the staff asked her to place the order, she waited for me.

The AC in our seating area wasn’t working properly it was barely cooling and later turned off. We asked a middle-aged staff member to turn it on, which he did.

We ordered Cashew Nut Salad and Spring Chicken Fry. We've been visiting this place since childhood, but this time the food quality was extremely disappointing. The chicken fry, which used to be flavorful and well-marinated, was completely bland this time almost like it had no spices at all.

The Szechuan Chicken and Cashew Nut Salad was even worse. There were barely 6-7 cashews, no real chicken just deep ried cornflour pieces made to look like chicken, mixed into the salad. And it was unnecessarily sweet.

When we asked the staff about it, he casually said, "This is how much cashew we give" and claimed the cornflour chunks had chicken in them, which was unconvincing.

We were the only customers in that area during lunch, yet that same staff member kept walking around our table repeatedly, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. After lunch, we planned to sit for a while, but he started circling us again and eventually turned off the AC seemingly trying to make us leave.

Spending BDT 1135 for such poor quality food and such unprofessional behavior was truly disappointing. I am never returning to this...

This is a place where you can arrange any kind of social or family program. they have different places for different programs or you can use its full space as your required.

There interior decoration is an average. No separate or exclusive parking area. Its has a mini games zone for children.

There food quality is so poor. I attended a program here. Almost every dishes was bad, whatever beef or vegetable. I love prawn but for the first time i could not complete it. Sorry to say except there chicken fry, there all items were totally faltu. Service...

Good and affordable price.

Thai garden is one of the oldest and popular Chinese/Thai restaurant in this area.It is the 2nd branch.It has more space in one floor than branch one. Two branches food quality is overall same.Food quality is moderate.price is not too high. Bad news is -card payment is not available.

Good for family and friends gathering, birthday party, wedding receptions, anniversary etc.
