Thai Garden, a beloved Chinese and Thai restaurant in Kochukhet, has been a cornerstone of the local dining scene for nearly 30 years. As one of the most iconic dine-in spots in the area, it has built a reputation for serving consistently delicious food with generous portions that go beyond expectations.
One of the standout aspects of Thai Garden is its portion sizes. While the menu states a serving ratio of 1:3, the reality is that a single dish can easily be shared among four people, making it an excellent choice for family gatherings or group dining. The flavors are rich, authentic, and satisfying, ensuring that every meal is a fulfilling experience.
Their Thai soup is a must-try, packed with an impressive amount of meat and prawns, offering a perfect balance of spice and tanginess. The chow mein is another highlight, delivering a delicious combination of flavors and textures that leave a lasting impression. The beef sizzling dish is a showstopperâtender, juicy, and infused with a rich, smoky aroma that makes it an instant favorite.
For those who love a good salad, the chicken cashew nut salad is a delightful mix of crunchy nuts, succulent chicken, and fresh vegetables, all tossed in a flavorful dressing. The wontons are perfectly crispy, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. Given the generous portion sizes, itâs almost impossible to finish everything in one sitting, so taking leftovers home is a common practice.
Overall, Thai Garden remains a top choice for anyone craving high-quality Chinese and Thai cuisine in Kochukhet. With its long-standing reputation, flavorful dishes, and incredible portions, it continues to be a go-to destination for food lovers...
Read moreI loved coming to this place as a kid. So this is a nostalgic place for my family. However, after coming back almost 3 or more years later, I was utterly disappointed with how much their quality has degraded. The taste is almost the same as before, which is why I am giving two stars. But the food was not hot enough. It was like they left the food for a while before serving them. We didn't complain about the soup. But when the same thing happened with fried rice, we had to complain. They took back the plate and warmed it, but the quantity was less than before, which was really shocking. The place was totally full. So, we were rushed to leave soon, not at all expected from such a restaurant. The man who served us food didn't do his job properly. We didn't see such behavior from a staff member before. Yes their food is tasty, but considering everything, I would not go back...

I recently visited Thai Garden in Kochukhet and tried several dishes including fried rice, chicken fry, chicken sizzling, prawns, and mixed vegetables. The food was fresh and well-presented, which I appreciated. However, I found the overall taste to be a bit blandâit lacked the bold flavors I usually expect from Thai cuisine.
The variety on the menu was nice, and the portion sizes were decent. If you prefer milder flavors, this place might suit your taste. For those looking for a more authentic or spicy Thai experience, it might fall a little short.
Still, it's a clean and quiet spot, and the service was fine. Worth a try if you're in the area, but I hope they enhance the seasoning in the future. best of...
