Otithi Hotel and Restaurant is a popular restaurant in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, known for its singara, naan, and grilled chicken. I recently tried the grilled chicken, beef laal bhuna, and fish vhorta, and I was very impressed with all three dishes. The grilled chicken was juicy and flavorful, the beef laal bhuna was rich and spicy, and the fish vhorta was light and flavorful. The service was also excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Otithi Hotel and Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Bengali food in Rajshahi.
Here are some specific details about the dishes I tried:
The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly, and the marinade was flavorful and juicy. The beef laal bhuna was rich and spicy, with a deep flavor that lingered on the tongue. The fish vhorta was light and flavorful, with a subtle sweetness that complemented the fish perfectly.
Overall, I had a very positive experience at Otithi Hotel and Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Bengali food...

I visited Rajshahi for work and stopped by for dinner at this popular spot. I ordered the Kacchi Biryani Half (300+ Tk). The biryani was somewhat good, but it was too greasy and the spices were overpowering. A lighter hand with oil and a more balanced spice blend would improve the overall flavor.
The restaurant is always busy, and there was a noticeable wait after ordering. Finding a seat was challenging due to overcrowding. Better crowd management and quicker table turnover could help reduce waiting times and improve the dining experience.
They serve a pickled salad that pairs well with the biryani, which I enjoyed. However, their Borhani was disappointing and lacked a pleasant taste. They also have a well-maintained restroom facility, and their prices seem reasonable.
Overall, it’s an okay place to visit if you’re in Rajshahi, but they need to work on balancing flavors and...
Read moreThe food is delicious for sure. But I wish the price would become lower. I've been here three times. Had chicken chap & chicken chap masala with naan and butter naan. The chicken chap is much better than chicken chap masala even though it's cheaper. Because the chap masala was so spicy I couldn't taste it well. As for the naans, I couldn't notice the difference in the taste of normal and butter naan. The place looked good & clean. I ate on the upper floor.
The reason I'm giving the service 3 instead of 4 or 5 is because the 2nd time I came here and ordered a chap and naan, the chap was cold, as if it hadn't been heated up in the slightest. That was annoying because it didn't feel nice to get a cold dinner after waiting for so long.
Update (15.5.25): The food quality really has gone down. The chicken chap I ordered yesterday was cold again. For this to happen twice in a row is really...
