Bikini Beach Barbados — Restaurant in undefined

We had a 2:30 reservation with the original plan being to dine have drink and a cigar after while listen to music and watching the sunset, we were seated at 2:35. Sat for 20mins before the server took my order, no water poured. I order bruschetta as my appetizer and the pineapple bowl as my main while my fiance had the steak. 45 mins in no water, no drink and no appetizers. By this time the sun was coming in on us upstairs so we request to move down stair as it had gotten extremely hot(our table was looking over the water). Another couple who came after we did made the same request. Downstairs an hour in we recieved a drink and still no bruschetta. However, the couple who arrived after we did received their meal. My fiance got up from the table and went over to the bar to inquire if we could at least have bruschetta as by then we were extremely hungry. The bartender a very pleasant young lady went to follow up for us. 1hr and 15mins into our visit we received the bruschetta... still no water. 15mins later our main courses came and my fiance requested water for the 2nd time (first was when our food order was taken). My pineapple bowl was tasty amd my fiance steak was nice. Taste of food 7/10. Speed of service and attentiveness 2/10. We asked for the bill so we could pay and leave as the sun was coming in on our downstairs table by the time we finished our mains. We moved over to the bar as this too was proving to be a wait. We tried the card machine twice but it did not work. The bartender said she would need to get another machine. So once more we waited. She began to make drinks for a few patrons as we waited. 10 to 15 mins into waiting i inquired if she was still getting the other machine. She responded oh shoot and took us over to the podium to settle the bill. Overall horrible experience. Would not recommend. Staff are friendly but need additional training and wait period...

After a long flight and being so hungry we were so happy the Bikini Beach bar was so close. The atmosphere was gorgeous, cute and beachy and just perfect! The service is more than slow. When we finally got our food we were just so hungry it didn't matter what it was. I had the pizza which was so so and my husband had the club sandwich which fell apart and was not good at all. For the prices we thought it was going to be so good. Anyways because it was so beautiful we thought we'd give it another try and brought my parents one night. We were not greeted nicely at the door. We wanted to try upstairs and were met with "sorry no room, ever" we were dazed and confused by that response and then immediately were grabbed by someone else much nicer and brought us to the beach part where many tables were open. There's only about 8 tables. We were happy to be seated. But it took an hour just to get our drinks, and other tables sat after us got them before us. and another hour and a half to get our food. Our shrimp tacos were meh. It was so confusing when they have more than enough staff but we wait so long. If we had drinks it wouldn't have felt so long. There seems to be no sense of urgency or organization in terms of priorities. Super disappointing. We would have been there everyday if it was good. We never went back and do not recommend it.
