KFC Oistins — Restaurant in Oistins

Absolutely ridiculous and DO NOT RECOMMEND PLACING A DELIVERY ORDER. I have ordered food delivery at 5pm. It's 8:36pm. I called the store to get a status update at 6:55pm (when the food was supposed to be delivered) and got a rude person on the other end who barely wanted to answer my questions. I was also hung up on the the first time I called. The phone rang for what felt like an eternity before anyone answered. I will also mention it was a Sunday night so I do not belive this was their busiest time. I called again at 7:46 and waited a full 5 minutes till I could talk to someone and they put me right on hold. Apparently there was now a driver who would be heading out (mind you i am 7 minutes away from this location). I called again at 8;30pm to wait again for 5 min to be transfered to a busy tone. This was just something i wanted to try before leaving since its different here in Barbados. So not a big deal, i also had dinner in case this didnt work out. But its the priciple. I was also charged and expected what i paid for. Of course i will be disputing this charge. Its just insane how horrible th3 service was. The worst service I've ever received. Used the online service to order a delivery. The order confirmation was received by me at 18:41, informing me to expect delivery around 20:08, this is already a long wait, but hey-ho I'm on vacation and I'm not starving just wanted to try the KFC in Barbados. Well the time of this post is 22:27 and having checked the opening times for the store in Oistins it closed at 21:00, so I'm not getting a delivery. I have to confess that I am a long way from the store, google maps indicates that it is a 23 minute drive, however, if they were not able to complete the delivery they should have said so and I would have taken my business elsewhere. Instead they took the money. The number on the confirmation is a joke. It rings a few times and then cuts off. I'm not going to bother to rewrite this post suffice to say the KFC arrived at 22:40, that is a FOUR hour wait!!!. Well I'm not going to be ordering from KFC in Barbados again, I'm now probably not even going to be going into one of their...

Today was my last straw with this KFC. I placed my order at 4:09pm. At around 5:30, I still hadn’t heard anything from the driver so I called the number in the email I was sent and was told the driver would be coming soon. The lady on the phone sounded fed up and was very quick to put the phone down.

Around 7, I still hadn’t heard anything from the driver so I called back again. This time, the guy on the phone was a bit more courteous and told me the driver was on his way and would be contacting me soon. I finally got a call from the driver at 7:55 and received my food at 8:05pm, 4 hours after the order had been placed. By this point I’m starving. If the driver wasn’t as polite as he was I’d be more upset than I am, though it would have been nice to receive some sort of apology for, or even just acknowledgement of the delay.

Fries were cold and soggy and the biscuit was cold but other than that I was just glad to have something to eat. This wasn’t my first delivery disaster with this KFC but it will...
