If you are looking to stay somewhere that is different. This hotel has "nailed it". Loved the look and the fact that you can stay in a modern'ish remade old mill. You get the best of old and new. ||||The hotel is a bit far from Brussels and horrible drive into the city so take this into account if you plan on using it as a base into Brussels city.||||Found the property to be peaceful and retreat from the "hustle and bustle" of a Brussels. ||||Breakfast was nice with hot and cold items, breads, juices and good "bean to cup" coffee. ||||Parking was available and free||||The room in my opinion was too bare. The focal point are the two huge window looking over the stream that the mill water releases too. It had a desk and TV and wardrobe and two single beds pushed together. I like minimalist but this was just plain spartan. The bathroom did not fit the feel of the hotel. It felt like they remodeled the hotel and rooms and left a 1950s bathroom complete with a bath tub. They should have pulled out the tub and put in a big open walk in shower. ||||The room has concrete floors and this is the same as the hallway, so noise just bounces off all the concrete which doesn't help with the sound proofing. ||||price point. The price point was correct and found the hotel good value for money.||||Think it has major potential but think they have relied on the concept to speak for itself and have left some aspects lacking like the bathroom and customer service. Think they could do so much more with the property. ||||Overall, would stay again but probably not for doing business...

I visited here with a large group of us from the UK for a car show that was fairly local. Upon arrival, I was amazed at our hotel. It is a converted mill which overlooks the river which passes through the centre of the hotel itself. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful even despite the time of year we visited as there was a small fair in the town centre which couldn't be heard from the hotel itself.

The rooms in the hotel are incredibly modernised, but also retain the character of the hotel - the brick walls and beams remain which echo the former nature of the building. Our room had two large windows which allowed plenty of natural light, and every room comes with an air conditioner which kept it refreshingly cool during our stay. We stayed in a large suite and shared between four, which was perfect.

The town centre is a five minute walk from the hotel itself and offers a good range of shops. There are several pubs nearby that weren't plagued by drunken idiots outside. There are several options for food in the town centre from takeaways to restaurants and the hotel itself offers its own meals - which were delicious. Sadly, the restaurant was quite warm inside but there were 30 of us in a small room in the summer, so there is that.

The staff were fantastic, and were incredibly helpful. The restaurant staff were amazing too, especially considering they had to deal with a large group of people who didn't speak their native language in a broad variety of accents.

Really looking forward to my...

Dined in the restaurant, warm and cozy on a winter night. Had the Dinner Prix Fixe menu, White Asparagus traditional preparation with chopped eggs, Sea Bass and CrÚme Brûlée. Date had Small Shrimp salad and Sole. All portions very large, very good & flavorful! Compliments to the Chef. Good wine selection. Service very attentive. Kitchen in the upstairs loft, multiple seating areas and outside patio. A few steps to get in & out and to rest area. Back for a Spring lunch, mushroom ravioli.

What a nice hotel in Belgium - we were looking for a place to stay in our trip home from the UK 🇬🇧 this was on our route and a pleasant stay for all of us including our young dog đŸ¶ The rooms are spacious and clean and have a nice atmosphere. The breakfast is simple and all right to start the day
