The New Fox — Restaurant in Affligem

We go to New Fox Restaurant almost 10 years. Yesterday again we went there to celebrate our marriage anniversary with my husband and my son. As usual it started all fine. HOWEVER, at the end the desert that I always take was not as good as usual so I left it and didnt not eat. when the Waitress ( a lady) came to ask if it was good, I sincerely said that was not good this time. Her behaviour was not acceptable after.. she took my plate without saying anything and went back to the kitchen with a very bad behaviour. After we decided to leave so my husband went to pay the bill by the bar. she didnt even say thank you or even good evening. Just because I gave to one non possitive feedback. The way she looked at us while we leave even annoyed my son who is not even 7 years old. New fox is a place where we go regulary but after this behaviour we will consider a long time break. And if we see this lady again we will defintely ask someone else to serve because her behaviour is totaly not acceptable as it was very rude,

This hotel is very good located, has a very good restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. Though dinner is expensive. Breakfast is not huge but nice enough. Though they could do with fresh bread.||The people are very friendly.|||The rooms however need an upgrade and I cannot say they are properly cleaned. The room I stayed in had a clean bed but in the room and bathroom I found spiders and based on the webs (dust or Spider) I can say the room isn’t cleaned extensively regularly. |Also the bathroom is still in 70s style. With a shower that is lacking water pressure and you have to stand in a bath that is designed for sitting down. It’s actually very dangerous to take a shower because you can slip easily.|There is no airco in the room.||Apparently they had some rooms already upgraded. I would advise to ask for...

I went to this hotel for work. We got a decent room with a nice breakfast. They were also very friendly. I noticed a lot of men in suits, so I suppose that this hotel is mostly used for work (15 minutes from Brussels). ||||The restaurant was rather expensive, but overall it was worth the money. The staff were a little bit too much focused on money. I ordered a beer and they came asking if I wanted wine. I said I wanted wine when my beer was empty and still they filled my glass when I still had half a glass of beer left. The food was nicely presented and the portions were very good. 10 euros for an Irish coffee is too much...
