Brasserie Sapore — Restaurant in Antwerp

Could not recommend enough this place. We arrived late to our hotel and we couldn't find anywhere to get some food. We stopped at this place, and the waitress advised that the kitchen just closed. As we have already been tired after driving 12 hours, we decided to stop for a drink anyway. We told the staff about a long trip and how we just wanted to grab a bite. The waitress was fantastic. She brought us olives, little delicious pretzles and other bar snacks, and some bread and butter. Also brought a book for our son and water bowl for a doggy! It made our day. Huge variety of tasty beers and the best aperol spritz in Belgium. Unfortunately, we were not able to try food but we are sure it's delicious. Very friendly staff. I had an issue with my card and had to try 4 times ! :o They didn't made an issue out of it and patiently let me try again and again and again ... And again. It finally worked 👍 We were there in the Gamba evening so that was nice. We ended with a dessert (sabayon) and at that moment we were stuffed. We hoped to finish with an Irish coffee but sadly (is it really?) We were too full to add that last bit of liquid dessert.

À l'occasion d'un évènement organisé par mon employeur, nous étions une trentaine de personnes. Un menu entré, plat, dessert étaient prévus avec trois choix différents pour l'entrée et le plat, et deux choix pour le dessert. La cuisine était très bonne que ce soit pour l'entrée, le plat et le désert. Le service était bien organisé, efficace et agréable. À noter, le patron est parfaitement bilingue français et néerlandais. Le cadre n'est pas de prime jeunesse, mais reste agréable et confortable. Le seul bémol est que les décibels montent vite et que la décoration ne permet pas de les atténuer un tant soit peu. Notez qu'il n'y a pas de parking dédié et qu'il n'y a que quelques places de stationnement situées juste en face de l'établissement. Il reste cependant la possibilité de se garer sur la chaussée pas trop loin, et ce, sans limitation...
