Friendly waiter, cozy atmosphere with nice river views, but food can be better. Everything was underseasoned except the mashed potatoes. Could do with a bit more salt. But i guess it’s still better than too salty. French Fries are crispy but the potatoes are tasteless . How come? The best thing about the mussels is the flavourful stock. I wish I could take it home and make clam chowder with it. The Thai curry style cod tasted okay, but a bit undercooked for my taste. The assorted vegetables tasted great though. But an odd combination with the fish... Water was just filtered tap water and it’s 4.2 euro per bottle....

If it's the summer, the porch is great, and inside is fine, too.

If it's winter, they have a tiny smoking room immediately adjacent to the main eating area. They do not close the door to this room, so effectively you're sitting in cigarette smoke for your entire meal. If asked, they say that is normal, and they do not close this...

If you come here to eat, you will probably be satisfied. The attention of all waiters is directed at guests who have food in front of themselves. But if you decide to walk past Schelde and to go for a drink, the situation will be drastically different. Be sure that you have taken enough time to do it, because believe me it will last.
