BurGor Aywaille - les meilleures burgers — Restaurant in Aywaille

Food was perfectly fine and/or good—the time it took for us to receive it was not. I think we ended up waiting around 2 hours for our food to arrive. Sometimes that’s just a thing that happens when dining out, but in this case there was no communication from the staff, and no attempt was made to comp any part of the meal (something that almost assuredly would have happened in the U.S.A., which happens to be our frame of reference—if this is not an expectation for you, then go ahead and enjoy yourself some yummy burgers and ignore me).

Just to clarify, other than the aforementioned lack of communication, the service (i.e. the actual staff working there) were totally fine, pleasant, and spoke more English than we did French, so otherwise there were no issues there at all.

Also, atmosphere is only rated lower because it’s a small, intimate restaurant space, and as such can get very loud, as it was when...

They need to hire more people! They only had two people in the restaurant (a waitress and a chef)

When we arrived, the restaurant was not full but was busy. It took the waitress nearly 15-20 minutes to take food orders. She only took half the orders (nachos only), thinking they were starters. 20 minutes later, she came to take the main orders, but the "starters" still had not arrived.

Nearly an hour after arriving, we finally got food. My partner ordered the blue burger, which should have JUST been chicken, but ended up getting a beef patty, too.

The portion sizes were great.

The whole experience was incredibly chaotic and mistake prone. These could have been prevented if they had more...

I'll start with the service. It was great, they were very friendly and nice.

Now the food. We started with nachos. It was pretty good. Just regular chips with guacamole and cheese sauce.

Then i had the Paris burger.

The plating was beautiful.

I LOVE pepper. But all i could taste in the burger patty was pepper. The patty also had a bad texture, a bit 'rubbery' (i think it might be because they season the meat before forming the Patty's)

The burger also had mushrooms and baked onions on it. Which were weirdly enough cold. They tasted good but...
