My review is strictly based on the Lamb Sri Lanka that was delivered to my house. Perhaps the dining experience and the other food items could be different. I have prepared lamb Sri Lankan curry many times, and unfortunately, the dish did not taste the way it should. The description of the dish says Sri Lankan lamb curry with coconut milk. However, I could not taste the coconut at all. Strangely, all I could taste was sugar! The dish was extremely sweet for some strange reason. My assumption - perhaps the sugar and salt were in the kitchen side by side, and instead of salt, the chef accidently added sugar. Or, instead of adding a pinch of sugar, the chef dropped a bit more into the curry by error. The sweetness of the curry overpowered the taste of the spices and the coconut. As a home cook, I tried rectifying it, but the sweetness was too much. I wish I could say good things about the food, but I am sorry. Nevertheless, as I said, my review is based on the food I ate, and maybe the experience with the other food items would be different. For eg, the garlic naan that I ordered with the curry was good and...
Read moreHad to give one star just to write a review .Cannot believe I was charged 5 euro for 3 poppadoms.. these do not cost that much at all, whenever ive made orders from other indians these have come free without charge. In the UK they wouldn't even think of charging you for these. What can I say about the Curry's we order well the lamb Madras was runny and watery lamb was ok.. needed a good mix look like it hadn't even been mixed. And the chicken Tikka well I had 5 small slices of chicken not even chunks.. 5 slices that was disgusting.. to be charged that amount if money for each dish too! We were ripped off by this Indian. I'm very disastisfied with the meal. Chicken Tikka was runny and watering much more sauce than filling. In the UK they charge much less for the dishes and you get much more portion size too. The portion sizes from this restaurant we're questionable. Cannot recommend this place. I had a...
Read moreThe people were nice, but the place had poor ventilation, and the whole restaurant was full of smoke. It was really hard to breathe. My husband wanted to go because of that and because he saw a bug on the knife, but I was very hungry, so I ordered a Chicken Tikka Massala with a portion of rice. The menu said it was 14€ but the bill was 16€ for 5 mini pieces of chicken and 3.50 for a small portion of rice. I don't know what kind of sauce was that, but looked like red colorant with 12 spoons of sugar. The rice was also oily and tasteless. I only ate 2 pieces and unfortunately had to throw...
