This place used to be my very favorite sea-side restaurant in Belgium. However, in the last year or so (2018) the quality has dropped a little. It is still very good, definitely worth a stop.
't Molenhuys serves a variety of sea food and meat dishes. The restaurant is particularly famous for its bouillabaisse. Usually, their version of the dish differentiates itself by the combination of Pastis and chili. The spicy anise flavors give the top-quality seafood a lovely kick. This spin on the dish was unfortunately absent during our last visit. We were presenting with a very standard, good but not outstanding bouillabaisse (see photo).
Another of their signature dishes are the gambas a la plancha. Usually, one is presented with a delightful, sizzling pan full of huge shrimps drizzled in oil and garlic (see photo). Unfortunately, during our last visit, the pan came far from sizzling, with the shrimps borderline cold (quite sad, actually).
During one particular visit (2017) they had a Scottish beef special on the menu (skirt steak - see photo). This dish was outstanding: one of the best restaurant steaks I've eaten. For some reason, the menu has changed to some more boring cuts of Irish beef (2018). I tried the rib eye and it was underwhelming.

Baby chair was available but it was not suitable for babies, no protection whatsoever - it was a normal slightly smaller chair. When we asked if there was an alternative the response was that this is the only chair they have, and no discussion on how they could assist further.
