We spent 50 Euro per person and it was not worth the money. First the good things why 2 stars were given. The starting materials fish, oysters, langustines and 1 meat dish were of good quality. BUT If you decide to serve French fries with sole in such a noble restaurant then these should be of excellent quality. These were cold and pale as white whale, and tasted old. The side salad was not worth to mention - pure with halfteaspoon red mayonnaise without taste. if you have an open kitchen, then the cooking personal should be aware that we can see them. So putting cabbage as topping on a dish before serving is ok but not eating the amount that was judged as too much. Also the hands going through the hairs several times during and while preparing our dishes is unhygienic. Esp. as no hairnets or gloves are worn. Plate for the meat dish was cold as was the meat when served. don't clean the interior decoration items while we are eating. This should be done outside opening hours... The testosteron was abundant visible in three ready-for-the-bullfight waiters. An 'all over the place' triumvirate of which I could not distinguish the owner. There was one woman who was very kind and she should have taken the order. I asked if they had a sort of fish and chips on the menu. I know very well they have a reputation to keep high, but gosh how quickly gravity kicked in. He proposed homemade fish sticks, and in one breath added that no fries would be served. I was disappointed that there was no real communication from parent to parent (sure they had kids). We were the first customers and they could have shown a little flexibility, at least in their body language. I ordered shrimp croquettes (3pc each) as a main dish, a bottle of water and a glass of wine. The price was 100 Euro. I left the place at 6.24 pm. Read moreExcellent food and excellent service. I have seen in the reviews that some were complaining about the price. I disagree. It is indeed a bit more expensive than other places in the area but comparatovely the food here is very high class and we have thus preferred given out our money to have exquisite food than paying just a bit less for much lower quality. My husband took the lobster and he was delighted. My fish was also very wel cooked and i enjoyed the grilled shrimps. We had oysters as a starter and frankly they were perfect (and were properly opened which is nowadays not so common anymore). The cherry on the cake was definitely the service.
