What you have found here is a true gem in the countryside. One of those places in a village outside the big city away from the tourist menus and with a warm, kind host. Not only is the entire team extremely friendly and so helpful, the food is delicious and each dish is a tableau - a piece of art. The vegetarian menu was absolutely fabulous and we will definitely return asap! Maybe you are lucky enough to be able to stay in one of the adjacent rooms. This way you will save yourself the trouble of having to organize transportation to some other place after you are so full you can barely move. And you’d be able to enjoy the beautiful suite which is wonderful, comfy and just a nice place to be. Absolutely delicious food, amazing service and superb ambiance. I was lucky enough to be invited to this great place where I got to taste some ostrich meat, nice gin and tonic with fresh herbs from their garden and local, Flemish wine. The ontdekkingsmenu lets you discover unusual and exotic (and delicious!) tastes. The staff makes sure you always have everything you need without invading your event too much. The rustic architecture and decorations make the experience even nicer. The only thing I didn't thoroughly enjoy was the dessert, but the rest was so good that I simply cannot take one star away. You don't just go out for dinner to ""t Aards Paradijs" its a real experience from the moment you park your car and enter the garden tru the wooden gate.. It's a beautiful place, classic/romantic! Wonderful friendly people who own the place and they expect the same of the staff...

But the main reason you need to visit AP is the food! Lieven (the chef) has a wonderful way of interpretating tast, pure and honest.. It's always a treat to go there!
