Minty Gent — Restaurant in Ghent

When you go there they force you to order two menu or add something to your one person menu if you are two, and it's not worth if you don't order twi, here last time for below one person menu they charged us for 28 Euro?!!!

I said why, they said what did you eat? Nothing, they think we should order more and waste more???

Why? How can a restaurant says or force you to buy more?

I made a break down to show that they almost have a benefit of 60% to 70% but they say it doesn't worth, we never go back there and will share what they said to all our friends.

More than that they said tea and bread is free but at the end they charged us for 4 Euro for tea and smell of bread (I mean some small pieces of bread)

I will also get legal assistant to see if really it is possible that a restaurant can tell you that you must order two foods if you are two.

Ik ben al 4-5 keer naar Minty geweest voor ontbijt. De presentatie en de smaak van het ontbijt is goed.

Ik heb wel mijn vermoedens dat niet alles vers per klant wordt geserveerd. Deze week heb ik minty omelet besteld, daar hebben ze ook een stukje Gouda kaas geserveerd maar ik heb gevraagd om dit te veranderen. Ik zag zo aan dat kaas dat het niet vers was gesneden.. er lag restjes van feta kaas er op en ook wat stof aan de voor en achterkant van het kaas..

Nog een andere minpunt is dat ze broodjes en panini’s hebben staan op hun menu maar die zijn niet te verkrijgen. Bij mijn laatste drie bezoekjes heb ik iedere keer eerst panini/broodje gevraagd maar ze hadden het niet. Bij de ene was het personeel voor broodjes niet aanwezig, bij de andere keer hadden ze alles weggestoken omdat ze over drie dagen in jaarlijks verlof zullen gaan en deze keer krijg ik te horen dat de baas geen broodjes wilt verkopen, schrap het dan...

My go-to spot for Turkish breakfast and cheesecake with coffee in gent! Highly recommend this cozy family run place to everyone. My kid enjoyed it too! Visiting again...
