Friendly and professional staff, that know what they are doing. The food is good although I wouldn't recommend taking the marinated chicken. I took that and after a while i got tired of the same monotone taste. The rest of my company loved their food. My boyfriend got the beef brochette, bacon was wrapped around the meat what have it a good taste and made the meat tender and juicy. My mother had the cod dish with warm veggies and mashed potatoes. The cod was fresh and had a good taste, vegetables were cooked in the oven and had a great taste. My mom didn't like the mashed potatoes so much because it was dry, but I liked it, totally no problems with it. Her partner took the eel, I forgot to taste that one but he was satisfied with it. You can also see the chef preparing and grilling the meat at the back of the restaurant, what is fun to watch..the first 10min. They also have a cool twist on limoncello. I hate limoncello too artificial, but their's is made of oranges instead of lime and tastes really natural. Overall it's a little pricey but I would go there again to eat. Amazing experience ! The way they treated me was so gentle, the menu in English surprised me because no many restaurants have one. The appetisers were so tasty and the cocktail signature amazing, lots of flavours. I recived 3 types of bread to can eat with my butter ( really fresh and tasty homemade ) The scampi diavola they were so good grilled and so tasteful, the sauce you could eat it with bread and still enjoy. The mussels they were really big and the portion was so big then I couldn’t not eat it anymore, so full of flavour and the sauce for really good ! Een parel ontdekt te Haaltert. Last minute een reservatie kunnen maken op een dinsdagavond, zeer vriendelijke en warme begroeting al van bij het telefoontje om te reserveren. Toegekomen in het restaurant werden we hartelijk ontvangen en kon je al een heerlijke geur opsnuiven van gegrild vlees op de achtergrond. Een ruime kaart met voldoende keuze qua drank (aperitieven, huisgemaakte cocktails, wijnen,..) ook op vlak van eten was het een mooi gevarieerd aanbod met vlees en vis gerechten en salades, aangevuld door verschillende suggesties en de keuze van het gerijpte vlees. Wij hebben de keuze gemaakt voor een salade scampi en een T-bone van elke soort gerijpt vlees. Met een amuse werden onze smaakpapillen al geprikkeld. De stukken vers gesneden vlees werden voor het bakken aan tafel gepresenteerd, en niet veel later kregen we onze heerlijke gerechten met een glimlach voor ons neergezet. Onze gerechten waar elk zeer smaakvol, ruim voldoende van portie en lekker gekruid. Als dessert was er een keuze uit de kaart en kon er ook gekozen worden uit een ruim assortiment van zelf gemaakt ijs. Daarnaast ook nog keuze uit koffies en een mooi thee assortiment waar je bij het kiezen mocht ruiken. Het is een zaak die wordt gerund door een familie, vader staat in de keuken en achter de grill, moeder maakt lekkere ijsjes en zoon en dochter staan in voor de bediening en het maken van de cocktails. Vragen staat vrij bij hen en wij voelde ons zeer welkom in hun zaak.
