The Lake has undergone a revitalization under fresh leadership, and its standards have been elevated to an impressive degree. Having dined there twice since its reopening, I can attest that despite the establishment's recent debut, the service flowed seamlessly and the culinary offerings were nothing short of delectable. The accompanying sauces for the succulent meat were truly sublime, enticing us to audaciously request an additional round of bread to savor every last drop. Given the superlative quality of the cuisine presented, the price point remains remarkably reasonable. Very bad service. I’ve called twice in the week to book for afternoon tea, the gentleman on the phone very rude and cold told me that it’s not possible to book for afternoon and we can just come. We’ve invited our friends but when we arrived he told us that you didn’t book and we have a feast and you can’t comme inside without any apology. Well we had to call everywhere to find a place to spend the afternoon with our friends. We were shocked. I do not recommande this restaurant....

Great food and wonderful service. We we're served by a guy with an injured hand who was one of the kindest and most considerate waiters I've ever had the pleasure to meet. When my partner, who sometimes has a harder time understanding dutch, didnt understand something, he immediately caught on and explained in English. And his tips on what to get where on point.
