Côte Belge — Restaurant in Knokke-Heist

The restaurant is next to main cyclist's road. They haven't sold bottle of water for tired cyclist, becasue "this is restaurant".

There is no possibility to reply for owner reply. To be clear, we were inside the restuarant and asked for water in any form. We've had empty bottles, but nobody offered refilling. The waiteress told clearly that this is restaurant for eat, even if we asked that we can sit and drink inside if it makes difference. Such a behaviour - not to sell or give water to thirsty people is enough to give opinion. I can imagine that I get dehydrated in front of your restuarant (it was very close) and nobody help me with glass of water. It is not humanitarian. To be clear, that day was over 30 celsius degree.

Mixed feelings about this place. First off, the atmosphere is great: place is very lively, well decorated, nice ambiance all around. For the did you have the choice between different menus or a la carte. I took menu with mostly fish, and you can tell the products are of high quality, but all might be a bit on the too expensive side. But then there's the service: you literally feel like asking them to give you a smile will cost you 5 € more. Worst, I believe the people serving us were the owners of the place. When they come and take your order, you almost feel attacked. We still had a great evening because of the 2 first points, do would still...

It is a fantastic place to go eating with your family. I loved the food, it was perfect. The staff was really friendly I asked for extra food, and it was free. You get your food under 30 minutes. They even did something special for my birthday normal restaurants wouldn't do that.

It is also really comfy and Cozy to sit there. I would recommend picking the plate of steak with fries because it was perfect.
